Fire Strikers

These strikers are forged mostly from old files.  They are shaped in the style of fire steels of long ago are hardened but only the finger holds are tempered so as not to break in use.  They will throw sparks with the best strikers made but will not look anything like ferro sticks that are so popular nowadays.  Be sure not to drop these strikers on a concrete surface as they will undoubtedly break!

There are two styles shown, although we can make any style you'd like to have.  The top row is a pattern from Colonial American times, but this style goes all the way back to Viking times and even before that!  The bottom row are strikers like those forged in the American Southwest and in Old Mexico.
